Hello Kitty And Friends World invites players into a creative open-world game where they can interact with Hello Kitty and her Sanrio friends. The game focuses on decorating houses, exploring a vibrant city, and creating unique stories at a player’s own pace, with no time limits on general activities. Players can personalize various spaces, engage in interactive city activities, and participate in a range of mini-games alongside nine familiar characters.
Creative Play and Customization
Players can begin with one fully decorated house and two additional houses to customize freely. This involves mixing over 100 furniture items, colors, and objects to design bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, gardens, and pet spaces. The game also allows for culinary creativity, enabling players to combine ingredients in the kitchen to discover recipes and prepare meals. Players can also dress up their favorite Sanrio friends, change their expressions, animate them, and make them dance to invent new roleplay stories.
Exploring an Interactive City
The game features an interactive city with various locations to discover. Players can visit a park, go fishing at a lake, host parties, or relax at a food truck. The city includes a supermarket where players can choose products, prepare fruit juices and cotton candy, check out, and send groceries to different locations. Ribbon’s Club offers a DJ booth, lights, and a VIP area for dancing. A permanent attraction, the Spooky Ride, allows players to travel through a haunted tunnel in a cart, tap interactive surprises, and collect candy. Free Halloween costumes are also available for characters. Additionally, players can explore a high school with lockers, common areas, a cafeteria, gym, basketball court, and themed classrooms, engaging in music, art, and science activities like sound games, DJ mixes, painting, coloring, pottery, and interactive experiments.
Characters, Pets, and Mini-Games
Nine Sanrio characters are available from the start: Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, Pompompurin, Pochacco, Tuxedosam, Keroppi, and Badtz-Maru. Players can also add pets, such as puppies and kitties, to care for and take anywhere in the city. The game building houses 27 mini-games, which include activities like running, jumping, puzzles, collecting, and other challenges. While players start with one decorated house, two customizable houses, and these 27 mini-games, along with the free Spooky Ride and Halloween costumes, additional locations, outfits, and experiences can be explored through individual packs or a World Pass subscription.
